Juho Hanninen stage win today means Kris Meeke & Hayden Paddon are only main team drivers without 2017 stage win.#8 Ott Tänak - Martin Järveoja #8

Poor Bibendum. he is smiling but it is bitter smile, because they refused to make selfie with him because of his body. :/
Visit South Moravia. It is the real paradise

For all drivers that have installed extra lights on their car, these extra lights must remain switched off during SS1y, unless otherwise authorised by the Clerk of the Course. Any infringement will be reported to the Stewards."
If prior to SS1y running it was still not autorised to use them after the mentioned decision, then everybody who used them on that stage must be penalised at Stewards' discretion!
If it was autorised later on, then we might start to think about the "conspiracy" of Ogier turning the lights off in order to gain some extra power
Please, before writing subjective comments, first consult yourself with the official documents of the rally...Last edited by beta_racing; 10th March 2017 at 08:53.

Strange to have this SS0 stage. TV coverage was very confusing. Despite all the drivers mentioning a second run it was never referenced on commentary. Everyone would come away thinking Ogier was leading the rally when in fact it was Hanninen.
Okay it is a nothing special stage, but that's still a live global TV broadcast and Toyota just lost a bit of PR there. How hard would it have been to just change the stage numbers to 1 and 2?
Will also be interesting to see whether that stage runs next year. Very long day for all involved on the rally.RS Motorsport Media - Follow me on Instagram: rsmotorsportmedia

If you've ever been involved in rally organising, you'd know that a change of a special stage number just prior to the rally (and this is, my God, the very first stage!!) would require a change of (almost) all documents of the rally (itinerary, supp. regs., road books, maps, etc.)!
On the other hand, I don't know who invented the "SS0" stuff since in the itinerary both stages were named SS1x and SS1y (not SS0 and SS1), no matter how strange was that too (SS1a and SS1b would be more understandable), but that's another topic...Last edited by beta_racing; 10th March 2017 at 08:47.

after that YouTube channel with tons of old rallying videos was 'stopped', now its time for one rallycross YouTube channel to have the same end. https://youtube.com/@rallygreat2660?feature=shared...
