that actually is inaccurate - last WRC competition was October 2013 so 15 months 'retired'; since when of course he hasn't been anywhere near the steering wheel of a DS3, yeah right!
So yes on a rally that you could say he's a specialist I expect the multi world champion to shine - and Loeb to finish secondKris Meeke got fired -PSG so terrified they quit!

Any of you Euro guys have any idea of what the weather is likely to be like for MC? Starting on my birthday again. Hot as hell here in Oz.

Quite snowy I believe. At least there is snow at some tests.

Snow on MC makes it the most boring rally with the wide "normal" studded tires these days, it's a safety issue as well.
With tires like this i would actually consider going to MC.

Yeah, with lot of snow, Monte will be slow and probably there will be lot of crashes.
EDIT: I know long studs are forbidden for a reason, but I'm still wondering why not narrower tyres are used (winter with or without studs)Last edited by stefanvv; 28th December 2014 at 12:19.

I have been four times to RMC (2009-2012) and I totally don't agree with You. Whenever there was snow it was much more fun to watch than pure asphalt. The snow or ice is boring if it's only few patches and they drive purely asphalt tyres but otherwise it's great fun. It's something completely different to Scandinavian winter rallies but that's why it's unique and fun for me. That's also why I enjoyed 2010 IRC edition the most and 2012 WRC edition the least. Without snow it's just another asphalt event. Also with the snow it's much more fun for spectators. You can build snowmen, fight with snowballs etc. When it's just cold or rain You just wait for hours...

It's great to finally see some light at the end of the tunnel for Fourmaux, the team and the fans. There's been a tough couple of years and a lot of harsh criticism but none of them gave up and kept...
