Back home now, wish I could have afforded a weekend ticket, but there you go.
The second session was alot better and I took plenty of photos and got deafened.
Traffic too and from was a nightmare, but hey what ya gonna do.I still exist and still find the forum occasionally. Busy busy

Lauda just had to fork over the dough live on TV to Dr. Marko after losing his bet.

Lauda made a bet with Marko that Merc would be acquitted by the IT - a bet that he of course lost.

Hamilton pole, I'm a very happy boy even if its only for Saturday success so far... Hopefully Mercedes have turned the corner? Well done Lewis though.
I'll have to watch the quali tonight as I'm listen via 5 live..

Well... Great lap by Lewis, fantastic stuff!
Let's see, what does the race bring us. Red Bull is perhaps a slight favourite for the win here. If the season is anything to go by, Mercedes should drop back at least a little bit tomorrow. Can Lotus and Ferrari come back from that far behind? And what about Force India? They have shown some good race pace and tyre management this year, maybe a dark horse in podium contention if Lot/Fer get stuck in traffic?
Toro Rosso is starting to come aerodynamically good as well. I don't know, what it is, but James Key has been a positive influence in any team he has been so far. Be it Force India in 09-10, Sauber 11-12 or STR now. Though they could face setbacks any time really, like next year with the change of engine manufacturer.
In terms of title contention it really is crunch time. Alonso and Räikkönen are in danger of letting Vettel slip away a long way ahead.
This is not so important. This stage is only not to make a mistake and not to destroy the tyres. We will see tomorrow on proper stages.
