Never mind the commentary — the direction was appalling, especially at the start of race one during which every incident was missed.

As usual then. Looks as though ITV are not throwing any money in this direction. Let's face it, anyone on here that knows anything about the BTCC could do a better job than Toby and the less said about the camera coverage the better. I suppose i should just be grateful the best racing series is shown on tv at all.

I have only had the misfortune of one meeting on the TV this year having been lucky enough to be trackside for the rest, however, I too am sick of hearing "lights ablaze" and all the drivers names announced in elongated fashion! Really think it's probably time for a change!

Probably just me, but today he seems to have really upped his game. Quite excitable still but no major clangers that I recall.

He seemed to pick up on overtakes after me, but not bad overall.

Perhaps he has been reading this thread :P They still missed when Plato slowed down and pulled off, i could clearly see it but they didn't until the cameras actually properly showed it. Maybe i'm being to harsh.

That one is a bit harsh, as I couldn't have told you which MG it was - as Neate had not long rejoined and was in danger of going a lap down (or already lapped, can't recall). Certainly, I was concentrating more on the action than the commentary yesterday, which is a good sign on both counts.

No more Toby Moody on the BTCC. His replacement is David Addison.

Josh McErlean just 0.1 seconds off the WRC2 stage win in SS3, faster than Toksport team mates Solberg and Greensmith - impressive job.
