Novel way of link spamming?
I noticed at the bottom of the "long recovery for Kubica" thread that it tells you people found the page by searching for various terms, in this case "SEO blog". It links to an external page, obviously someone trying to drive traffic to their blog. Is there any way of blocking that, or does the new registration process take care of such spammers?

No that's just a link to the site of the person who supplied one of the forum addons. It's not spam.

The whole issue of spamming is very frustrating for me. I'd like to make registration super easy but can't as we would get overwhelmed with spam immediately. We've even had people spamming the facebook wall recently.
It's more than just annoying and causing work to delete it, it's actively stopping the site from growing due to the measures we have to take to stop spammers gaining access. Please 'like' our facebook page http://www.facebook.com/motorsportforums
