Really great entry list, yes, especially on saturday with run for Hungarian championship. At about 15 S2000/R5 cars, which is nearly the same as at Jänner rallye in the last years. Will be there too on Saturday.

The last round of the Dutch championship was this weekend, won by Jeroen Swaanen with a Fiesta R5. It wasn't a very great entry, and the fact Condroz was this weekend as well didn't help.

Kevin van Deijne won the champinship in the Fiesta Trophy, but star of the season has been Mats van den Brand. He won all 5 rounds he entered, but because of a strange rule he didn't become champion. If he had won all stages he would have been, but he missed out on 1 stage by 0,1 second. Anyway, he finished 6th overall and even set a 3th fastest time overall on the last stage.

Piet van Hoof in his Evo. There were no real championship contenters this year. In fact, it was quite a weak season. All major drivers only did a couple of events.

Thank you Yes I noticed that. What are Dennis Kuipers and Van Merksteijn Jr up to? They're not interested in the championship?

I don't know exactly, Kuipers main effort this year was to return to WRC in Germany and France. Van Merksteijn wanted to do Dakar, but that won't happen next year. Van Loon and Ten Brinke are also focussing on Dakar. Bob de Jong only did a couple of events in the Netherlands, most of them in Belgium. Swaanen only started in his local rally in a C4 WRC, after that he did the East Belgian Rally and last weekend the Euregio Rally with the Fiesta R5.

The ONRK (Open Nederlands Rally Kampioenschap) is the 'main' championship, the open, international one. World Rally Cars are allowed.
The RNRK does not allow World Rally Cars and is focussed more on Group N. Also, some smaller events in the country only count for the RNRK and not for the ONRK. Usually every 'bigger' events hosts boths championships.

It's a bit of a strange situation, these are the only differences I know.
