Early imdications are that Hendricks and RCR are the teams to beat this year. Performance with the COT will be interesting. RCR has done lots of testing with the COT and may have an edge.

DW was saying that RCR may have the edge with the CoT races.
but Roush struggled at Cali, except for Kenseth. Biffle and Edwards were never a factor, until Biffle wrecked David in the closing laps like a bonehead.
Penske is alot better, both Kurt and Ryan ran in the top 15 all race long.
Red Bull and Brian Vickers I think was the surprise. they got a top 10 finish in their first race in the toyotaBrian France is a violation of Section 12-1 (actions detrimental to stock car racing)

no, Blaney will be good, he was in the top 10 for most of the race until his engine let go.
Blaney seems to be energized from running good in the Busch series and running much better.
but right now Vickers is in the top 35 but needs to stay there after race 6Brian France is a violation of Section 12-1 (actions detrimental to stock car racing)

Blaney runs the 22, which if I remember right was in the top 35 of owner's points from last year and will probably make it in this year in three races. But he had the benefit of being guaranteed a spot for the first five races. No other Toyota team has had that advantage. They've all had to race in.

Leyton House even went bust after Newey left ;) McLaren did at least win a championship post-Newey (Hamilton in 2008). Williams' problem was losing both Newey and their works engine at the same...
