Shakedown - 46.72
I've finished the rally and it was fairly decent. Day 1 was pretty good but SS4 caught us out with the ruts/ditches. Day 2 was ok too but the wet weather made driving a FWD car so difficult. I was getting so much understeer exiting corners so had to ease of the pace. On the first stage of day 1, I gambled on a shorter gearbox (-1) but I didn't find it any quicker. In fact, it ruined the smooth flow in my driving so I changed it back for the rest of the rally. I rolled on the last stage which cost a few more seconds but other than that, I'm pretty pleased. Fingers crossed I can get into the top 8 though I know the S2000s will be difficult to beat this time round.
For your interested my setup was -
Gearbox: 0 (One stage at -1)
Suspension: +5 (hardest)
Power Ratio: +5 (FWD - Normally, I wouldn't rally like this but I drive S1600)
Brake Bias: 0 (Car was fine under braking)
Brake Power: 0 (See above)
Steering: 0 (In retrospect, +1 or +2 may have worked better for day 2. Not 100% sure.)Tír gan teanga, tír gan anam

Also finished the rally. It went well I think...wet stages were tricky and had to keep concentration but it seemed to go well.

Cheers guys. Didn't think my run would hold up that well, very pleased with it! I did 6 laps of the course. If only there was a racing forum championship (as opposed to rallying.) I remember I used to run consistantly midfield in the Toca 2 championship I co-ran a few years ago. I think I may have even scored a podium at one point.
