    Ngk Irish Awards

ENKALON N.G.K. MOTORCYCLIST OF THE YEAR I am pleased to report that Ryan Farquhar won the premier award in this publically voted pole, runner-up was Jonny Rea and third placed Eugene Lavery.

Sadly for the organising Enkalon club the three main award winners could not be present due to commitments but they were able to organise a video presentation to Ryan which was shown on the night.

    M Pearson / Kawasaki

Michael Pearson has made the switch to Kawasaki for his 2010 Road race campaign, having tested the Z10 at Kirkistown a few weeks ago, he was well impressed. None of this would have been possible only for a few people having faith in him, namely Building contractor Ivan Morrell who has purchased the ex Ryan Farquhar Z10 and his longtime sponsor and boss Davy Greer of Carryduff Forklift, Davy is buying a new 600 Kawasaki for Michael.
Pearson said " I am really enjoying my Road racing, and to get this great package sorted out so early on, these are the best machines I have ever had at my disposal, I am indebted to these two men, and am really looking forward to the season ahead

I've been trying to determine whether there will be any tv coverage of this event - doesn't look like it...
