Day 1 Complete. Average times - the Focus seems well balanced but rolls easily . 1 PB on SS1 - beat previous by 4 secs!
Hoping for top 8 (although only 9 are taking part I think!)

    Day 2 tomorrow.

    You mean Puma, right?

Yes-I hope everyone likes the individual stage format. Useful when you have a daughter who likes to wake up when you are in the middle of a rally.....

Individuals are fine-I'll do the math

Puma skinned as Peugeot 207 S2000.
Getting mixed up as I'm practising Italy with the Ford for the WRC competition. One surprise is that I go about 2 secs a kilometre faster in the Ford than the Puma/Peugeot - let's hope its the same for others!

As for the stage format - I think it's much better. Good variety and more fun.

I must just have a better feel for the Focus? As an example, my shakedown with Puma was 2.54.60, but I went to 2.48.12 with the Focus!

Anyway - Day 2 complete. Much better day - wet stages with dry tyres went better than expected (even a PB on SS6!). And my snow run went very very well. Another PB by 2 secs despite not using snow tyres - the sliding is fun and apparently fast.

    Day 3 tomorrow.
