    Wrong, we need warmer weather. A few + degrees for a day or two would do the trick
    Now it will probably be maximum 5cm of just hard packed snow and straight down to gravel with no ice.

    Agree. But it´s also a chance of surface being more icy if they pack the snow with truckwheels or something. The warmth from foundation will remake the snow to more icy layer...
