This is also a good one on Emil B driving a RWD Volvo 940 VOC on gravel. Just look at the flow! Only about 175 hp.

Btw on one stage on friday afternoon loop Bergkvist had to take it easy after a heavy landing in the beginning of the stage. Maybe lost some seconds there.

And if you remember well, this is not the first time that it occured in CoI when it was in IRC I think.

Thankfully, at least following the rally online, there were end of stage times from Rally Radio and some excellent twitter feeds. I also found http://www.rallyscore.net/ wasn't so bad with split times available on all but the short street stages.
Rallyscore.net were official results of the rally and it was not working properly, like whole events. This is very big shame which will bring negative affects to the whole ERC...

Last year there were also problems with results. And as I have notices from last edition in IRC, timing was not perfect too.

I have just checked out final results of the national rally. I have to say I'm a little disappointed. Dessie McCartney and his Darrian T90 GTR only managed to finish in the 22nd position, behind many R2 cars and 30-year-old Ford Escorts
Do you know anything about Dessie? He isnt a young man, his best days were before any of the top International drivers were born and he just goes out for his own enjoyment now.

To be honest I've never heard of this guy, but looking at his stats yeah he must be an old national hero, very nice to see the great old Terry Harryman who was with him in the early years. It was the years you had to be a real man to cope with the undriveable HP monsters without power steering and two wheel drive at the back.

Jaromír Tarabus today in his press release praised Irish fans who managed to get his car back on the road even though he himself thought it's over.

He also said his off was on the same place as Kajto's and Breen's big moments.

No, I have never heard about him. I read on the Darrian website that they "have a reputation for building competition cars with giant killing performance". That's why I was curious about the results.
