My thoughts on this opening event of the season:

+ Solans, a great performance and a fully deserved win. I hope he is able to do the full season!

+ All-Live coverage was very good (aside from some sound-synching issues)

    - Quite a poor entry list

    - The promoter need to raise their Youtube game. They have plenty of footage but anybody without WRC+ is unlikely to see it.

    - MRF drivers/teams underperformed here. All three are solid drivers, although not top-drawer like they had last year. Maybe the tyres don't work too well in wet/muddy conditions.

Oh! He took the win, but we didn't see it on tv.. i guess this is a danger when there are more top category cars than they show on All-Live.

Congrats to Solans, he is a talented driver!
Lets hope he is able to round up a few very good sponsors, so this ERC season is secured! Both Spain and we needs him!

Exactly my thoughts. What were they thinking when they chose such drivers?

How far back did he start on the PS?
Did they clean off the soapy slush, so the grip became so much better?

It shows that the live stream are ending way to early!!

I still do not like that cars that have retired, can cruise and prepare for the PS, while others are fighting for positions a whole day, and have to use a tired car, with totally worn tyres.
Not fair play in my book.

Why Csomós got ERC points if he was using Hankook tyres? Only Pirelli, Michelin & MRF was allowed to score.

What was the warning about podium celebrations timing about?

Basically, organiser didn't respect the timing that was published in the SR. Podium was earlier than it should have been, according to original schedule.
