It appears this might just be a one year change as a result of work happening in area of the Cordoba SSS this year.

That map doesn't have a scale displayed but does it really take 45 minutes to get to the center of Cordoba from service? Okay, full screen shows the scale and it's farther than I thought but traffic must still be a nightmare.

It looks like a twenty minute walk from service to the super special now, which is nothing to complain about considering this rally's previous attempt at SSS spectacle

Distance from Villa Carlos Paz to Cordoba is not that great. Approx. 2/3 distance is good highways at open road speeds. Last part of trip from edge to centre of Cordoba city involves many intersections and lots of traffic lights, this was the part that requires most time. Yes it would be possible to walk from Service Park to the new SSS.

Ligato was supposed to do the event in a Fiesta WRC but has to cancel due to an injury. Just makes me wonder if the rumors of him being in the third M-Sport Fiesta were true...all of a sudden Suninen gets the seat and then we hear that Ligato has to cancel
    Yes it was true.
Ligato had announced retirement after getting last year national championship, and he used first rallies of National champ fr triaining for the Fiesta WRC. He also entry to last round of Southamerican Championship renting a Fiesta R5. He did the friday short superspecial, but was unable to start due to high pain and retired before starting on Saturday.

He had trained a lot, and his sponsors had sorted up the M-Sprt rent but his "dream" retirement was not feasible

could Ole Christian Veiby make his debut in a WRC car at Rally Argentina

interesting posting on Rally Argentina website in Spanish lists WRC manufacturer drivers then talks about Ole Christian Veiby as a private entry prior to mentioning WRC2 manufacturer drivers.
Could OCV be driving the MSport car previously intended for Marcus Ligato ?

Thought Suninen was driving the left over Fiesta? Veiby is using Wevers Sport Fabia in Argentina, but I have no idea why it's mentioned separately before the other wrc2 entries.

No Al-Attiyah but a decent amount of R5s.

Seems like a dry year for private WRC entries.
