EP also said to Janne right after flying finish "no worth trying cause we're not allowed to win anyway". Which was why alll the changes for EP win went after Ogier off.

I think that if Lappi wouldn't backed off, Neuville would still be quicker.

Last year Sardegna was also harsh for them, but we all saw how they bounced back in Kenya, pretty sure it will be like that this year too, maybe Tänak will make the Puma work for him for once and he'll win like McRae did back in 1999/2002.
Only you know your true potential.

Harsh for Ogier (and Lappi as a collateral damage) but globally good news for the championship if Hyundai converts the 1-2 with Rovanpera 3rd:
    - would stop all the «*what if*» questions about the title if Ogier had made the full season (which meant nothing with the road position, ...)
    - would give a new dynamic to Hyundai
    - would close the gap in both driver and manufacturer championships between the 2 teams. Even if I think Toyota has some margin in the manufacturer championship with the possibility to have Ogier in last 4 rallies with probably a 6th road position in Greece.

I'm a bit surpirsed that Kalle "when it's raining I feel like at home" Rovanperä was so far off the pace on last stage. Yes, not fighting clearly with anybody for some position, but still...

edit: probably keeping good tires for PowerStage

What, Neuville 10sec faster than everyone on 1st split, they are just completely cruising or where Neuville is hurrying? Want to finish the day fast?

He has new softs compared to others who took used ones

But must have sacrificed tomorrow a little there. Just 12 softs for the whole rally

It was hilarious how he claimed he was fastest because hes at home in the rain, when everyone behind him on that stage just had more rain to deal with

Lappi is clearly disappointed with the situation, he can not fight for the win.

... but all is not lost yet, Neuville can surprise with some stupidity
