ICYMI, Cyprus has effectively been expelled from the FIA after yet another chapter in the FIA organisers (CAA) and the Cypriot government's organisation (CMF).

The Cypriot rally drivers can now not compete in any international FIA rallies, and the rallies in Cyprus are not recognised by the FIA themselves.

I saw that in the last couple of years there were 2 championships in Cyprus, one from CMF and one from CAA. Can you explain what caused this?
