That Kalle cant compete for the top places on his favourites rally is a big worry. Hankook tyres have the deal for another 2 years so he might have this struggle for a long time to come. If there's no improvement on gravel could we see him pull out again ? And if he does, Toyota would have Solberg as the perfect replacement.

If Oliver does not get a seat and Pajari keeps his seat at Toyota Rally1, there is some serious nepotism going on in Finland.

I’d be ditching Katsuta before Pajari.

Oliver for sure deserves more driving in WRC for Toyota , but perhaps not that easy depå on contractual situations for current drivers. I however think it will be original line up for Finland and depending on results there Oliver might be moved up for rest of season instead of Psjari or Kalle.

This disscusion wouldn't be needed if Ogier wasn't hungry for that 9th title.

In my book this does not change 2025 plans. Oliver goal is to become world champion in WRC2.
For 2026 Toyota need to sign him. That could happen today, or next week, but I am guessing Latvala agree!

Looks like dry weather for PS
Other examples: Safari specialist Ian Duncan winning Safari 1994 in works Toyota. Mats Jonsson winning Sweden 1992 and 1993 with Toyota Sweden (only Sweden entered in '92, Sweden and RAC in '93)...
