    afternoon will be interesing in many ways, this is where usually the Hyundais start to come more into life and Toyotas not so much.

    Also, can Suninen hold his place and what can Tänak do? will Ogier make the gap bigger?

    Shame for Tanak, I had him nailed on to win here and his pace on the first stage today showed it was there for him. Tough to come back and win now, but if anyone can, he can.

    rally is still long.

    i just watched the results from 1st day from 2019.

    Ogier was first,
    Evans 2nd +14
    Meeke 3rd + 21
    Tänak 4th with +37

    at the moment he is losin the same amount of time but there is still the whole afternoon loop to go.

    As I understood, he hit some random/unpredictable rock, damaged the engine and lost the oil..?

    Only saw SS3, what happened to Tanak on SS4? Gutted for Sordo's bad luck and congrats to Ogier, apparently he got his mojo back. 2nd loop looks promissing.
