    Before quattro everyone think that 4wd isn´t succesfull...

    So what´s the thing then? Bore x stroke changes? Less weight moving?

    Any engineers telling theoretically thoughts?

    Hmm, as far as I know the issues with Ford EcoBoost are not the case of one litre but more of the 1.5 four cylinder. The one litre has been AFAIK pretty reliable engine.
