Don't know how in other countries but here teams keep buying Fiestas like crazy as those are really cheap now. At least five new Fiestas to CZ in last few weeks.

Nice sound of r5 Fiestas is mostly thanx to option of exhaust without silencer. It makes car sound little bit similar to wrc.
A lot of people buy Fiestas because of bad reputation of PSA cars and problems with parts. Also reputation of Skoda Motorsport support and parts is currently not that good. And people are afraid of future - mainly VW decisions. So Fiesta is becoming popular again. As support is way better than others, parts no problem, car is also fast with new engine and really reliable and relatively easy to run.

Yes, You are right. M-Sport currently offers the best package and as a bonus it's also cheaper.

First cars were sold with exhaust with silencer. Then people started to remove them to make cars louder and MSport also started to offer such option. Quiet exhaust can be an advantage in some situations. Originally Posted by nafpaktos
