I am just looking pictures and I wonder when was the last time when we had so many cars with Pirelli tyres, especially 4wd cars. Plangi, Lukjanuk, Svilis, Butvilas, Consani, Katjo, Koltun, Tlustak, Vorobjovs, Costenardo, Tushkanova, Kabacinski, etc.? Basically only new Peugeots and Opel were using Michelin (some Peugeots were also with Pirelli, like Volver, Ogryzek).
I think one of the reasons is that Pirelli got very good sales work and tactics in the Baltic area. Also price / tyre are lower and that interests many privateers. And of course Pirelli IS competitive tyre in the ice/snow events.
That will all depend on the price. There are a few rich people who don't care, but the biggest group of drivers are constrained by budget. If they can give good deals, they could sell cars.
what do you mean by "new"?
there will be no new rally2, as homologation of the class is finished. you can buy the same rally2 that is running now, with new upgrades if they'll do some. And Rally2s...
