    That's what Dodge thought when in the early 80's they sent works Ramchargers to the Safari Rally. Of course they got beaten by the "tiny" Datsun, Peugeot and Opel. But hey, 2 of the 4 Dodge finished the event.

    All that matters and ever mattered was the brand winning... the brand claiming their 'car' won The Safari Rally. No rally car is anything to do with the road car equivalent but the just Manufacturer's name getting the kudos.

    But if anyone it's Toyota that deserved it and the reputation as tough and reliable. Those Totota HiLux were indestructible.
