SWEDEN 2008 - DEAL.. HIRE CAR - Stockholm Skavsta Airport

Hi Guys..

Just thought i would give you the heads up....

I booked a hire car via Hertz about 1 month ago now for the WRC Sweden, i paid £108.00 for a Volvo S80 for 4 days, 7th Feb till 11th Feb, of which i thought i had got a good deal, seen as though i had gone for the best car they offer from their LUX range.

HOWEVER------ i have just checked the website tonight "out of interest" for prices and they are VERY cheap now...

I have just done a quote for the same as i have booked, 7th Feb - 11th Feb @ Stockholm Skavsta Airport, (Airport code, NYO) and got the below prices!!!!

Just thought i would give you the heads up as this is too good to be missed!!! ---

i have thought about cancelling mine and rebooking... but as im in the 7 day period now, i have a £30 admin fee to pay.. which would only give me a £20.00 saving, and as there is only two of us... whats a tenner each.....

Any way.. just thought i would share this as some of you may be able to take advantage of this...

EDIT.................. PS--- Ensure you only book for a full 4 days to get the offer.... other wise it jumps to double... - WHICH IS STILL CHEAP......

Last year the prices were around £200 for a VW Golf... so i still got a good deal i think at the time of booking.. As you know.. the prices could of gone up and i would be laughing... LOL!

Below you can get a Vovlo S40 or S80 for less then you need... or even something smaller if you are wanting to cut costs..

Thanks, yeah, Arlanda airport. I'll probably go with Hertz, it's not a big difference in Price between Ford Fiesta, Focus and Volvo S40. By the looks of it, there won't be too much snow, so driving won't be a problem.

Yeah.. i would go for the bigger ones... i have gone for a S80 or V70
