    [Fr] Rallye du Var...

    Hi,



    Last round of the 2007 french tarmac rallies championship this coming week-end !!!

    There will be 4 Porsche GT(with certainly Alexandre Bengué as leader of them)...

    The battle for the french champion title is again open between the three usual whales, even if Patrick Henry took an option to it(he's leading with 6 points ahead of David Salanon and 13 points ahead Jean-Marie Cuoq)

    Battle for the Michelin trophy is even more open, as only 2 points is the gap between Eric Mauffrey(306 Maxi) and Patrick Rouillard(Toyota Celica GT)...and on this rally a few other drivers can play between or ahead the two leaders like Michel Boetti(306 Maxi), Olivier Marty(Fiat Grande Punto S2000)or Ludovic Gal(306 Maxi)...


    Also note a rare car in France, a Seat Cordoba WRC(driver Olivier Barbusse)

    I forgot to mention a few non-french drivers who will take part to the event like Belgian Kris Princen in a Clio R3, or the incredible return of German Nicky Schelle invited by Suzuki France to run the Swift Cup on that event

    Yeah, thumbs up for Kris Princen who's accepting a revenche with Robert. Hope he will beat him again, I prefer with a second or less!

    What's wrong with Cuoq, Salanon and Rouillard on reconnaissances? All of them have 20 sec. of penalty before start of the rally...
