    [FR] Critérium des Cévennes...

    Hi

Next week is the penultimate event of the french tarmac rallies championship, the Critérium des Cévennes(held in southern France)

All information and entrylist is on http://www.asa-herault.com/cevennes.shtml

    Results will be on http://www.patricksoft.fr

It'll be the first time Pascal Enjolras will drive his father's team(MES)207 S2000 and I can't wait to see what he can do with it(to my mind he can target 4th position overall behind the whales and in front of the 306 Maxis and Toyota Celica GT of the Michelin trophy)

Pitty that there will be only one S2000(Olivier Marty who drove the Automeca Grande Punto at the Mont-Blanc and Touquet chose the Clio S1600 for the Cévennes)

I can't wait to see the GT battle also between Gilles Nantet and Alexandre Bengué(who will drive ex-Delecour Porsche 996 GT3)

A great rally to follow indeed

    Two stages are running

    http://www.ffsa.org/res_rallye.php?id=686&catCourse=ral

Very bad start for the championship leader David Salanon in his BSA whale who went off the road and retired on SS1

Patrick Henry took the early lead after SS2 but with a gap of only 2.8s over Jean-Marie Cuoq

In the Michelin trophy Patrick Rouillard in his Toyota Celica took the lead(3rd overall)in front of the 306 Maxis of Eric Mauffrey, Ludovic Gal and Jacques Maraval...
Pascal Enjolras in the 207 S2000 is 6th overall and 4th of the Trophée Michelin after SS2

Nice performance by Enjolras.I wonder if Robert so slow driver that he couldn't catch Marty or R3 has no chances to beat S1600 on the French tarmac?

Cédric Robert was feeling tired(not enough slept at night, don't ask me why)and ill explaining why he was unusual "slow"

And of course the R3 cars are basically slower than S1600(Robert recognize it needs more developpment)
