    Posting photos.

I've been wondering what I do wrong because everytime I post a photo and follow the posting instructions; size etc., my photos end up being very small at size.

However, folks here post photos which barely fit to the screen

    I wanna know how ??????????

I have found the best way for me to post a photo is to image link it @ photobucket ...
I upload the photo to my album & then just post the link :

it works for me & my photobucket account is free.

I use imageshack and post the "thumbnail for forums" code it gives me.

That way I can post thumbnail links to big pics and they dont fill the screen or make the page heavy.

    example:
I got my motorcycle jacket, but I'm walking all the time...

If you upload directly it will appear as a thumbnail. But you can also use [ img ] tags to link to an image on another website.

Oops Forgot to reply to your PM asking how to post pictures

basically post the link and put the [img]tag%20in%20front%20of%20the%20link%20and%20the[/img] tag after
Rule 1 of the forum, always accuse anyone who disagrees with you of bias.I would say that though.

IMG tags: Is there some size limit or other that prevents the picture from being displayed in the Post?
I used the IMG tag today but only a link appears in my post that opens the pic in a new window.

If the image is hosted at a site that allows "hot linking", there should have been no problem ...
any image that I post by image linking are stored at my photobucket account ... (it's free btw)

if the image is at website, they may not allow "hot linking" their images ...

    the tags are :
brackets with IMG between them (with no spaces)
then the url for the image (with no spaces)
then brackets with /IMG between them (with no spaces)
    [/IMG]

(The nice thing about photobucket is that shows the image link under the image)
(I just copy & paste, it works great !)
