    Dale Jr. gets the #88

The #88 goes to Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s car with Travis Kvapil possibly getting the #28 at Yates.

It would be cool if Dale Jr got to use the #88.....

But the #88 should have been given to a Dale with the last name of Jarrett, not Earnhardt.

I suppose the 88 is the most logical choice, though to me it will always say "Dale Jarrett." In time we'll get used to it, after Jarrett is retired and Junior is winning championships in it

As far as it being the "end of the world," to some it might be...imagine all the merchandise that just went from being "hot" to "not." It really is the commercial coming true

And how may folks don't know who you're talking about when you say #8?

I suspect that Dale Jarrett wouldn't mind.

WHen I think of #88, It always makes me think of Darrell Waltrip and Gatorade , but then again, I am pushing 40!

I always think of #88 as the Audi R8 that finished 2nd at Lemans in 2004 :
