Rally Principe de Asturias

As everyone know, next year Rally Principe de Asturias will take part in IRC.

This year the rally counts to the European Cup, the Spanish Championship, the Asturian Championship and the Spanish Regularity Rally Championship.

The entry list is good for a national rally, there is 5 S2000 cars, many S1600 and Gr N Cars, but better than quantity of nice cars, they have quality in the entries.

The biggest surprise is Dani Solá with a Peugeot 207 S2000! I don't know from what team is the car and how was the agreement for this race, but I will try to get some info.

Enrique Garcie Ojeda will take part in the event to

There severall nice drivers to follow in this rally:

-Sola
-Ojeda
-Fuster
-Marcelino Hevia
-Alberto Hevia
And specially we must pay attention to Yeray Lemes, he is from Canarias Islands, he is very young but very good driver.

And the surprise of 2007 Spanish Champ. Vallejo brothers driving their fantastic Porsche 911 GT3. This season they won 2 Rallys, El Corte Ingles and the last event of Spanish champ. Rally de Ferrol.
It will be very interesting to see what he can do against Top S2000 cars and drivers (Sola, Ojeda, etc).

Aaron Burkart will be there to with his C2 S1600, maybe in order to prepare next IRC season.

The rally wil be on 7m8 and 9 September.

How do the GT's enter the event, are they on the regular entry list?

They're on a separate entry list, for a 'regional' event. I think they're running after the other cars.

Yes, because GT cars aren't allowed in International events... it only counts for Spanish Champ.

Sure, but the big news were about Dani Sola in a 207 S2000 and presence of Garcia-Ojeda whereas other S2000s were already known(Fuster and Hevia especially)
