    Rallye Terre des Causses rouergats...

    Hi,

Next week-end is held the next round of the french gravel rallies championship, the Terre des Causses...

Championship leader Jean-Marie Cuoq and S2000 driver Julien Pressac decided not to run this event(Cuoq concentrates on tarmac rallies with his whale and Pressac concentrates on last IRC events with the BSA 207)that means the victory will be more disputed than ever on this event :

The rally of course also counts for the french 206 Cup, and as usual I wish the best to German Karl-Friedrich Beck

Big SURPRISE !!! Jean-Claude Lavigne will drive the ex-Duval Skoda Fabia WRC(First-Motorsport) on this event, and that will be the first outing of that car on french gravel

Great victory for Stéphane Chambon the ex-motocross world champion who won the rally in his Subaru Impreza GrA

But Poland rally championship leader Bryan Bouffier in his Pirelli-backed Mitsubishi Lancer GrN only missed overall victory for...0.4s !!! :

Good performance from Alain Deveza in the Munster team's Subaru Impreza WRC who ended 3rd overall only +9s from winner...

Arnaud Morel in his Mitsubishi Lancer GrA was leading for a long time until he went off the road after the SS7 finish line !!! He can and must be hugely disappointed by that

As usual, the Renault Clio R3 proved to be the best 2WD car ever made for gravel rallies, Guigou, Augoyard and Robert finishing 7th, 8th and 9th overall !!

The 206 Cup was won again by this incredible Sébastien Ogier, the absolute "future Sébastien Loeb" of Peugeot(9 stages won on a total of 10, this means domination!!)
Denis Millet finished 2nd overall in the Cup, and lost the lead to Ogier but only 5 points should separate them, meaning nothing done yet...

Good performance from Karl-Friedrich Beck, back on podium after so long time outside 206 Cup's podium
