It's a nice model but Corgi got it wrong, it's actually the 1980 car rather than the 1978 car as stated. I cross referenced it in the Gordon Spice book. I'm still waiting for them to release the Hodgetts Escort, it should have been released in October! They have also announced a Vince Woodman Capri.

Yeah I noticed they are doing Hodgetts Escort. It good to get some new BTCC (BSCC) cars made. I know that Oxford Diecast made the Vectra's but they are just too poor for my liking so I never bothered buying them.

Been quietly adding a few new models to my collection -
2008 Vectra, Onslow-Cole
2008 Leon, Plato
Corgi's toy version of Rouse's 86 Sierra xr4i
I also have a Ford Sierra collection going on, rally/road cars, got a couple of those too.
I bought a 94 Cecotto ADAC Cup BMW 320i last weekend from a market stall in town, trouble is i now realise i already have one of those, i think my collection is getting a little large and i cant remember what i have got, made a couple of these mistakes now lol, or i suppose my memory might be going.
The chap also had the 94 Winklehock BTCC car for sale at a very reasonable £15, i did remember i do own that one already.

I just bought the Richard Longman BSCC (BTCC) Ford Escort sponsered by Royal Mail. It's another Corgi (Vanguards) model.

The HPI Volvo 850 estate's are now on eBay.
Bit pricey though. £42.99 seems to be the cheapest option at the moment. Indeed eBay for BTCC models is going down hill these days, everyone is either a dealer, or they have gone down the buy it now route, hardly any bargains to be had anymore.

yeah daz90. Ordered mine on e-bay. A seller from Hong Kong. I have had stuff from him before. He excepted a 'best offer'.
BTW, the recomended retail in the UK is £49.99. So even the £42 price you have seen is cheaper than retail!
I wouldn't put any money on that. His name is not Bernie. :p
