Now a couple of news: Man City have signed last season Serie A biggest surprise : Rolando Bianchi from Reggina. Juve has renewed contracts with both Nedved and Camoranesi and signed Portugal captain and defender Andrade. Also Chivu said not to both Real and Barca and he will join Inter, while Fiorentina is about to sign Sweden Ljunberg from Arsenal. Finally Schevchenko asked Chelsea to return to Milan, but Milan will only pay 1/3 of the price they got for him...Chelsea said no :

In Pino's list of greatest teams, goals etc as seen in the now sadly defunct "I will probably........ etc" Vol 4, Maradona's goal against England in the 86 World Cup quarter final was voted "Best ever goal"
Now I'm not being a bad sportsman here but I reckon he handballed itOh golly Oh gosh Had a lie on the couch with a nice bit o' posh from Burnham-On-Crouch:mad:

Personally I think the Copa America is a bit tame these days.
I remember back in the 70s the matches between some of these countries were an absolute bloodbath where games would often finish with only the goalkeepers left on the pitch and even they'd have a fight in the pub afterwards
Argentina v Uruguay was always a particular favourite of mine.
I remember that after one particularly bloody encounter in 1968 the wife of Argentinian skipper Antonio Rattin got a phone call from the Argie pysio.
I'm afraid Antonio will be coming home with a broken leg" he said
"Oh no not again" said his missus "whose is it?"Oh golly Oh gosh Had a lie on the couch with a nice bit o' posh from Burnham-On-Crouch:mad:
