    Horner - Oakes Rumor

    There are rumblings that Oakes resigned because a faction in Red Bull has "head-hunted" him and wants him to replace Christian Horner. The Italian paper is saying the Thai faction's support of Horner is disappearing.

    Helmut Marko says there is a big upgrade coming to Imola. Horner is saying there is no upgrade. Some are suggesting if Verstappen does not do well at Imola, Horner will be out.

    It also being reported that

    Oakes was linked with Red Bull in early 2024, at the height of the Horner scandal.
