Really weird that in the 80's and 90's it was lots of importers and private teams trying then. They didn't quit because they didn't win.

In F1 its half of the teams that maximum can get points, why they don't quit?

The FIA and the manufacturers ruined the sport. Sorry to say.

Supposed to be to scare off animals. Dont know why only Skoda cars are doing this.

Because it's not effective. Animals who get in the way are those that run from the bushes and don't see the car before it's too late. Animals on the open aren't danger anyway unless they are spooked from opposite direction.

Well, not quite what I hoped for for Evans, but not too bad. See you in the Croatia thread, folks...

Wasn't far that 5th place finisher took more points than rally winner..

How could Neuville end up with 19 points (2nd after Kalle) from this disasterous rally?

Finally a decent day from Hyundai, I'm surprised. No cars on the podium again, but Neuville outscored Evans and Tanak got the Sunday win. Evans should have done a little better overall in my opinion, but he can always count on Toyota's reliability (although, why the slow pace at the end?) and on the fact that Neuville and Tanak won't always be able to salvage good points from Hyundai's troubles.
Easy for Kalle, I expected him to be dominant on Sunday too, guess he just felt like cruising.
