I agree! I was very critical of the "pointless" new round considering plenty of classics are missing from the calendar but I ended up liking it a lot in 2019 because it was just beautiful to watch and I kind of developed a new appreciation for rallying as a window to watch the world. If you are used to see the same landscape in Finland Portugal, Spain,.... since you are a child you forget about that aspect of rallying.

Lovely turn out and atmosphere for the ceremonial start from what ive seen/ heard from a mate who was there. Men, women and kids full of passion for the sport and drivers. Shame we cant keep/have all of Chile,Argentina,Mexico in the championship.

However, its an absolute joke not even at least 1 car from each team could do a burnout/launch for a few secs or even rev the car after the interview ramp. Give the fans who have waited hours in chilly conditions at least some sort of spectacle, instead of all 3 cars for each team bleeping down the road like some sort of annoying alarm clock.

It depends if there is moisture in the top surface. Shakedown did and Kalle/Elfyn probably had the best road for the first pass, then it starts to break up and gets slower, then finally it will clean and get faster again.

Yes, question is now if the Friday roads are similiar to shakedown or those are different. Maybe someone who is at Chile can share the information. Thanks for input in ahead to everyone.
