It seems that no winter event in ERC anymore. There was a rumour that Arctic Lapland Rally could be next year and they moved it already to February, but certainly are not ready to pay big money to the WRC Promoter. It´s a pity that Promoter does not understand it´s unique value.

Rali Ceredigion will be one of the more expensive/awkward events for the mainland European competitors to get to however hoping for a good entry as the title may not be settled by then. Would imagine the rally will draw some of the top Irish tarmac crews over aswell.

UK rallying needs a shot in the arm exposure wise so all credit to the organising team for their work.

For me surprise about Junior ERC...logistically hard, but on other side no or little experience for most of the potential competitors for JERC on 2024 events.

I was first surprised by lack of Rome and Barum in JERC, but I guess it makes sense as both events have load of entries even without Juniors, so better to boost entries for some other events. Plus summer gap can give crews more time to get finances.

There was Rally Antibes in the past in ERC. But problem was that there were so different regulations between ERC and french championship. So organisers were forced to decide if they want to have ERC or national championship. After few attempts with ERC, they have decided to move to french championship. And since that time, there is no french event interested in...

Is there any payout for a ERC win/podium? If so, how much (more or less)? I have NO IDEA but I know theres no money for winning a rallycross race in europe while its all about that in American motorsport (purses)

It looks like young swedish driver star Isak Reiersen could make a sporadic appearance in the 2024 ERC with JC Raceteknik's Skoda Fabia RS Rally2 team.

Next year Mixi will return for a full ERC programme, backed by Pirelli, with their Skoda. He will also do the Hungarian Championship, but with a C3.
Also, Martin László will be back as well, with a Fabia RS.

Paddon interviewed at a speedway meeting in NZ this evening where he was driving in a charity category organised by Steve Williams (former golf caddy for Tiger Woods and Adam Scott) and others.

Paddon said he did not have funding yet to defend the ERC title, though he would like to attempt to.

Paddon interview starts at 3:17 in video titled "A pit walk ahead of tonight’s Valvoline Superstock Charity Invitational. Caught up with Hayden Paddon, Chris VAN DER DRIFT, Ryan Wood," on the 'official greg murphy' facebook page.

Murphy also interviewed Cole Armstrong (former D1NZ drifter), Richie Stanaway - single seater and SuperCar driver, Andre Heimgartner - SuperCar driver, Williams, Ryan Wood, and Aaron Slight - former World Superbike rider.
