British GP 2023
Well , here we go for another shot at Silverstone , and tricky conditions helped to create a really interesting grid .
Max didn't seem to have it all his way this time out , with Lando and Oscar close behind .
I'm not so sure they will be so close tomorrow , but their long runs didn't look too bad yesterday , so good luck to them .
Things are getting heated between the red drivers because the team needs another complication .
Bottas ran out of gas . Dull day on a dull day .
Again , a sketchy moment for Hammy and Max .
And , what can one say about Checo ?
The Trophy wife has a theory about what's happening to the poor Mexican .
It's the Heinie "0" commercial .
Do that ad bit and you sink at RB .
Daniel made that mistake and took that ride on that scooter as well when he worked there , and look where he is now , just waiting like a bridesmaid .
I'm looking forward to this one .
This is straight forward , building anticipation each day for the big race on Sunday .
It is easy to understand , and perfect for the attraction of new viewers , unlike that stupid , nobody understands it , qualifying , not qualifying , no practice , can't bust it sprint , gets up my nose , like way up there , stupid sprint race weekend format .
Yeah , where was I ?
Oh yeah .
Silverstone .
Classic weekend .
Classic weather .
Classic track .

Is this the end of Checo? I missed Q1. How did he allow himself to be eliminated?

What about Lando and Mclaren eh? Brown was over the moon with the results as he should be. Great to see this great team showing recovery to the front.
The wind seems to have disappeared from the Aston Martin sail. Mercedes is stunned by a front wing that appears to be a dud; as it failed to deliver a hike in performance. Ferrari on the other hand is still ahead of the trio fighting for the runners-up place in the championship.
I think we would see changes in the pecking order for 2nd throughout the rest of the season as the upgrade war rages in the 2nd tier of the grid.
It is so so tight in the second tier with two-tenths covering that lot. It takes just one bad corner to dump a car backward in the order. Don't you just wish all of the sharp end of the grid was covered by two-tenths fighting for the championship eh?Last edited by Nitrodaze; 9th July 2023 at 13:01.

Probably not, he can recover strongly from where he is. As long as he gets up to a podium position, all would be forgotten. It is a bigger risk to replace him in a seat that all has failed to succeed in. I doubt Redbull would be too eager to stick Ricciado in the seat following his Mclaren episode. Especially with young Piastri doing a better job than he did in that Mclaren.

What has happened to the Aston Martin? They have been behind their usual position in the last few races

What a cracking first lap. That must have given the Redbull pit wall a temporary fright.

Wet conditions. Portuguese Autosport brought something to the table... the WRC2 crews are using a WRC spec tyre that is harder than the spec Meeke and other CPR runners are using.
