With respect to Serdenisis, for MSport it would be best to have a driver whose feedback they can use to improve the car for that. I doubt feedback from him is very useful.

In either case this approach is contrary to what was claimed. The claim was that it is better for MSport to run fewer cars and get more testing days per driver. Yet if what you write is true it is better to have more cars, just not nominate them for points.

Can anyone confirm that it isn't possible to spectate on the shakedown. It's listed as non-spectator but wanted to check it isn't merely to discourage the masses.

So it depends if they count the country of championship round to include France. I suspect it might technically just be Monaco.
If the world didn't suck, we'd all fall off!

So to maximize test days run as many as possible non manu nominated drivers, but on max 7 rounds per driver.
That would seemingly fit MSport strategy from last year.

But I guess main problem is not the lack of test days for development, but the lack of test days for finding car settings for a given rally and for finding car settings it's more tricky to use different drivers.

Anyway last 5 years clearly show that any possible exploit for more test days is likely to be exploited, by the teams that have money for it.
