I think it could be to do with testing regulations...

Weather forecasts have turned around. On Tuesday there will be heavy rain that will turn likely into snow at the highest places. Subsequently it will be very cold, up to -20 C.

Ott Tänak sounds pretty happy with things after testing.

“We tried to get the best out of our first test days and we were lucky to experience the car in different conditions. It’s never easy to start the season from the blank page and building up the setup, but the boys and girls from M-Sport are working hard and hopefully we are well prepared for the upcoming challenge. I’m really looking forward to our first race together.”

I am hoping for winter weather and difficult conditions, so the drivers and teams will get some challenges.

Ogier. Unless he gets unlucky with his tyre choise somewhere, i don't see anyone who could be a threat to him.

This is interesting. I was under impression that world champion carries #1 and cannot decide otherwise. I've tried to read through regulations to find a definiteve answer but with not luck... damn chicken pox flu black death rabies and it's effect on one's intellect...
