Interesting gamble. If rain doesn't come, Hyundai will lose the game. If rain comes, will it be plentiful enough and on time? And will their soft wet tyres have enough rubber left to make any difference, given those will wear a lot more than hards that Toyotas carry.

EDIT: The last sentence is a brain fart, of course wets stay in the boot until they are needed and thus will be brand new by that time.

5 Hards for Rovanpera is interesting and confirms it's a test session so keeping the tyres consistent while making other changes.

Breen going slower than Mauro Miele... clearly sounds like he doesn’t care anymore (ok he has a special tyre choice but cannot explain it that much). A sign of an exit to Hyundai?

That would be very unprofessional. If one is paid to do a job, one does it until the end no matter what next day will bring. Therefore, I rather believe Craig has problems - or he's conserving tyres.

he was hired to do a job he was incapable of doing anyway: challenging for the title (at least, if you ask Dirtfish)

Evans stopped, He stopped 9.9km into the stage - presumably to change a wheel. Back underway now but any victory hopes have well and truly been dashed.
