Estonia 2020? Arctic 2021? Even Finland 2021? I think they admitted they tested on wrong types of roads

Going into more detail on the issue which ended his Acropolis, the Frenchman believes the alternator bearing was to blame.

“I took everything apart to make the alternator loose so that we could put the belt back on and make it strong,” he explained. “I rebuilt everything and it was on a downhill, so we could jump-start the car.

“The engine started but 200 metres later it switched off again. The belt had jumped off again, so I think the bearing of the alternator broke was broke.”

The WRC Rally 1 top class is not fun anymore. Each rally this year has become more and more a lottery because of technical problems, handling problems which vary from Rally to Rally, from team to team. This is much less a factor with the current Rally 2 cars which are much more durable. I would be happy to trade in the Rally 1 cars for a much closer fight with Rally 2 and Rally 3 cars only.

How long you have followed rallying? It has always been like that.

On one hand, Loutraki maybe has more to offer regarding structure for the teams. On the other hand, those traditional stages are bit far away...

Rally 10/11 years ago from Loutraki was perfect imo.

Loutraki stages are also traditional and easier to follow.

Also Loutraki is a nicer city next to the beach. To be honest, I have missed SS Klenia a bit!
