Acropolis Rally Greece 2022 (8-11 Sep)

SSS1 will take place in Athens Olympic Stadium, like the good old days (2005) when tickets were sold out (50000 rally fans were present).

Friday in Loutraki area with night SS, then the rally goes to Lamia for Saturday and Sunday.

comparing rally guide 1 from this year and from 2021 it will be different from last year. Distance from service park is different and also the stage kms are different.

but it will be close to Lamia

Went to Greece last year for the WRC and had a blast! Going again this year. Waiting for the stages to be announced so I can start planning. Managed to snag an Airbnb in Lamia but only for Friday night...

It will be the road where 5-6 cars tested in last years Fthiotidos rally, the road going to the monastery if you know…
As you go for Domokos you pass the big gas station on your left and at the end of the long uphill straight there is a gravel road going down left 😉

Looking at notes from last year it looks like the stage routes were released in early June. Hopefully they come out soon?...

    from French forum.

Loeb gave an interview for the newspaper l'Alsace today. We learn that he will do Greece in the WRC after Kenya. He had planned to do the Catalonia but the rally of Andalusia in rally raid was postponed to the same dates.
So we already know that he will not be at Mont Blanc because Greece is the same weekend.
