Pragmatically you can skip Paddon, but rally-fans are not too pragmatic persons I would say - travelling to weird places, standing in shitty weather etc to just see passing car for few sec. Why Evans with extra lights? Next stages are at night only in Europe..

Some parts of the stages are tree tunnels. If the day is cloudy with reduced sunlight just the road headlights might not be enough in some of those sections. Originally Posted by TypeR

There have been NZ rallies in the past where competitors have been caught without auxiliary lighting at both ends of the day.

Ogier took three rounds in the middle round when only two was needed. Lost probably 3-4 seconds.

Can anyone tell me how Ingram managed to start 4th on the road with out penalty? Seems unfair if road position tactics can be played, with out time penaltys?
