2022 King of the Hammers
Doesn't quite fit with the other categories.
Dallara race cars (US and Italy branches) to help the US off road rock climbers to construct a spec battery EV rock climber class.
2022 King of the Hammers (The main event for the US Ultra4 off road racing competition)
One of the tougher motorsport events.
The Californian Desert has attracted a large crowd this year.
Last two main events to run over the next two days.
Main events are Rock climbs linked with fast desert running.
Various other competitions are run during the event. Off road desert race. A VW buggy race. UTV. Extreme rock climb event.(the moon buggies won)

It's an interesting event for sure. I'd love to go check it out sometime. It took some time, and a combination of the various disciplines before it really got some traction and started making a name for itself.
It seems to lead towards some really unique builds. Often off road trucks and buggies are purpose built with one primary consideration and everything else lumped in as they can behind that. But with some parts of this event, they are making some really unique rigs that are really good at most aspects of off roading.
