The Crypto Cup (Overtaking Award)
F1 announced that they'll be awarding an Overtaking Award (Crypto Cup or some such name) at the end of the season to the driver with the most overtakes. After 11 races so far this season, the current leader is Vettel.
2 Questions:
(1) Exactly what constitutes an overtake? On track only, or (Quali position) - (Final position). Passing Backmarkers? DRS assisted? I have a feeling it will be subjective and F1 will somehow figure out a way to get it wrong.
(2) Does anybody really care?

Using the name "Crypto Cup" says to me that they intend to make it impossible to decipher how they come up with the winner .
It won't work on me .
I won't be buying any crypto-currency , no matter how many awards they give out .

They will probably base it on something that makes no sense, rather than worthy and tough overtakes.
Let's face it, usually the guys at the front don't get to make many passes unless something goes wrong and puts them in the back. And then many of them are easier, due to being the faster cars in the back.
