    After just five stages of the opening round of the 2022 season, M-Sport Ford have won thrice the number of stages they won in the whole of the 2021 series. . . .hmmmmm!!!!

    Fourmaux has shown last year at times he can be sensible though - take it easy on certain stages and then target specific stages to increase the pace etc.

    Imo he should just focus on the positives of his pace in these few stages before his off. Accidents happen, and he just got a bit overconfident finally having a competive car. Hopefully the next few rallies he can keep it on the road even if he dialls the pace back a bit.

    As you say too many crashes can really effect a driver. And there won't be another McRae with his mindset to never let crash after crash effect his belief in his ability/speed.
