    I'm super excited to see the rally, even if it was just any rally this season, the competition, the onboards of the new stages, the rally in these conditions...

    would think such thing can happen in Argentina, Kenya etc.. (not in rally Finland) that random big vans go on stages while recce..(yes, I know recce is on public roads yadayada..)

    Hopefully won't affect his rally too much..

    Actually the Safari Rally stages were on completely closed roads so such accident wouldn't have been even possible. I would guess Finland is the gravel rally with most daily usage on the roads, people living or having their jobs along the roads. We can only assume the truck was delivering or picking up something, which makes it completely reasonable to be driving the road.

    It's almost impossible to get that sort of damage on that side of the recce car if you're driving correctly, or have i seen this wrong?

    Well what you can see from the picture is that one (both?) of them weren't driving on the right side of the road.

    Which one of them did it is just a speculation.
