Biggest (=largest) yes, but in terms of quality it's not very good in WRC and bad in WRC2 especially.
WRC has no "surprises" or gentleman drivers.

WRC2 with 5 cars is the weakest entry of the season besides Kenya (which got ignored). Specifically I was expecting some French guys to show up (Camilli, Bonato).

Toksport (and partly Østberg) ran as many events as possible early to avoid Hyundai and Hyundai postponed starts to wait for new car.
So we get people fighting for championship by not meeting each other....

Both Toksport and Østberg are going to Greece and both have to keep one slot for Japan cause the rules require one round outside of Europe. (Guess that if Japan gets cancelled FIA reduces number of points scoring events by one). Østberg will surely want to do Finland as his extra round. At Hyundai I guess Huttunen skips Catalunya, so entry list in Spain might be like 3 cars (Solberg, Gryazin (if he goes) and Fourmaux or Suninen)

For Toksport I guess Bulacia (and his teampoints) made the decision since he will likely do better in Greece than in Ypres. Also August is holiday in Germany.

I feel like he'll be way out of his comfort zone on this rally.

Maybe due to lots of highly-experienced local driver's listed as WRC3 - very tough to beat on their own roads.

Bonato is in WRC3 this year, as are Rossel and Ciamin. Camilli would have been a WRC2 entrant.

This. I wouldn't be supprised to see a full belgium podium in rc2.

Usually its a battle of attrition. Half of them will end up in a ditch.

I still don´t see locals faster than WRC2 crews.

For WRC3 all Belgium Top3 is possible.

I think Munster, Fernémont, Princen and probably De Mevius could be in the fight for Rally2-podium. My guess is at least 3 of the 5 WRC2-drivers will end up in a ditch. All are discovering Ypres. What's difficult in Ypres is what you can't see.

Maybe not faster, but it's the end of the rally that counts
