Emil told that in pacenotes was flat hairpin, instead it was very tight hairpin uphill.. so, yes, mistake in notes for Kritensson.

So good to see that the Fords are up fighting for stagewins again! We need 3 brands with competitive material!

Wasn't powersteering a common issue for Polo R5 when it came out or am I mixing it up with something?

Hard to say if it's the upgrade(s) or the dry tarmac (long time since there was a dry tarmac rally)

i was talking about the last stage. We knew that everybody was on the right tyres,we knew that Ogier and Neuville pushed hard, and just before Ogiers puncture he was midstage 1 sec slower from him.

Yes, it was. It's also because it has a large castor on the front axle which brings bigger forces in the steering.

IMHO every car with a large castor is more prone to power steering issues (especially at the beginning). M-Sport cars are the case as well. Škoda had such issues at the beginning with the S2000 as well but they changed the suspension layout for the R5 (while VW continued to use it).
