It´s always pure luck! Also Ogier hit the rock (maybe the same), but of course nothing happened for him. Maybe Toyota must be stronger nowadays...

Unlike last season which was heavily affected by the Covid-19 situation, this year we're starting to feel the impact of having one less manufacturer. To be fair, even if Citroën wouldn't have left at the end of 2019 they still only planned to do one more season, but the lack of another manufacturer is really showing itself with all these retirements and having only a 5 top consisting of WRC cars. I really hope we'll get another manufacturer real soon.

Something has to be said about Hyundai aswell, after 4 years with this car they haven't been able to build a strong enough package, we are being deprived of an awesome championship battle because of that.

Of course, not taking anything away from it, something isn't right with that car; I'm just looking at it from the overall grand scheme of things, it was more interesting when you had each title contender in a different machine, unlike now where you have 2 on each side while M-Sport are (doing their best) fighting hard just to stay in the game.

    From Ogier:
"Rough stage! We had two big moments. There were big stones on the line that I couldn't avoid. Luckily I wasn't flat out at that moment and I tried to lift the car, but still we had a very big hit on the front."

no. certain drivers just don't know when to back off. you can give them a tank and they would still manage to break it.
