Yep, starting to look that way. Hopefully none of them suffer any long term affects.

Rumor going around that F1/Liberty is trying to jump the line and get everyone within the F1 (traveling) community vaccinated. Like I said, just a rumor that's making the rounds. Although a prominent former McLaren team member recently repeated it, I don't know how true it is.

That's like, almost a quarter of all of them. Sounds like F1 drivers is on the way to become the first community to achieve herd immunity.

Very true. Seeing younger people who are in peak physical condition being affected for months (maybe the rest of their lives) certainly makes me respect what this horrible virus can do. So much of F1 is not just physical, but also mental, and hearing about people who've had this disease losing certain cognitive abilities, makes it that much scarier.

COVID affects different people differently. Also, it is a luck of the draw on which variant of the virus they catch. Perez caught it, yet came back from it to win a race last season.

Yet most people never even realise they have the virus.

The chances of any of the 20 f1 drivers getting anything beyond flue like symptoms is close to zero. The older people in the team may be more at risk.
